Curable Composites

The Need:
Founded in 2021, Curable Composites is a 3D Printing company entering a difficult market that values reliability. As a startup, Curable had a lot to prove and had the best technology, yet no name or online presence.

Goals:
1) Choose a name that represents the tech and create a brand that gains respect in the industry.
2) Share just enough about the tech to differentiate without allowing competitors to copy.

The Approach:
After 100+ name ideas from our team, we voted on Curable Composites due to the instant curing tech (aka Curable’s competitive advantage).

In order to understand the industry and the need, I visited an aerospace manufacturer and saw the large autoclaves and listened to the pain points from the engineers. This helped our team focus on what areas of the technology to grow and helped immensely with the voice and marketing of the company.

Next was logo creation; it was important that the logo was modern and sleek. Using NASA as an inspiration, I created Curable’s logo.

For the website, I needed to show enough about the technology for investors and partner companies to know we are legit, yet not too much that our competitors would copy our advantages. After many iterations, the website launched.

The Result:
Curable Composites’ website ranks #1 SEO and has been viewed in 30+ countries. Curable hired a new CEO and is currently in a $2M funding round.
